Family owned and operated since 1961.

Nestled between the bluffs and lakes on Hwy 61 in Winona, Minnesota is where you will find this unique and local favorite pub, restaurant and bowling alley. The vision became a reality in 1961 when the founder, Paul Wellington Gardner built Westgate Bowl, a 16 lane center which today continues to flourish.

In 1988, the vision continued with Paul’s son Geoff opening a Pub and Grill naming the establishment after their founder, Paul Wellington Gardner. “Wellington’s Pub and Grill”, which is attached to the bowling alley. “The Well” quickly became a local favorite with its juicy burgers, smoked ribs, great steaks, salads, and award winning chili.

Have one of our cold brews and enjoy a great meal while taking in the excitement of our 16 lane bowling alley, Westgate Bowl is visible through our sound proof windows which serve as our back bar. Wellington’s is also a great place to catch your favorite team on one of our 7 big screen LED TV’s. Wellington’s hosts many events each year from corporate events, retirement parties, birthdays, family gatherings and college reunions.
