Sole Sport, an outdoor lifestyle retailer of sporting goods and outdoor recreation, recently moved from their location on E. 3rd Street to the Latsch and Son Building located at 114 East 2nd Street after a downtown fire swept through their store in September of 2013. The newly renovated Latsch and Son Building in the historic district in downtown offers the store a bright, open modern space and high ceilings, a mix of the old and the new.
This new space provides an opportunity to grow and expand their brand and product mix. Their focus is on high-quality, handcrafted goods and apparel, with an emphasis on Minnesota-based makers. The brands they will carry are Sanborn Canoe, Leatherworks MN, Solid Manufacturing Co., Sota Clothing, Helle, Woolrich, PF Candle Co. and 1canoe2. With the additional space, they will have a selection of floor models by Wenonah Canoe and Current Designs kayaks. Their hours are Monday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday 10 a.m.-6 p.m.; Thursday 10 a.m.-8 p.m. and Sunday, 12 p.m.-4 p.m.
